Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open basis the following items: 1) Kevlar-filled EPDM (EP-708 and EP-732) Qty: 476 LB. This requirement is sole sourced to R.E. Darling Co., Inc. at 3749 N. Romero Road Tucson, AZ 85705-3080 to maintain the integrity of the program's historical performance data the same material must be used. Use of any other material would invalidate previous testing and require a complete, duplicative re-qualification effort.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893626SIMACQD5550000017 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm’s experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule.
