Description
NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT
NAVFAC SW issued an extension to the existing Urgent and Complelling Firm Fixed Priced contract under authority of Federal Acquisition Regualtion (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), soliciting from a Single Source. Award extension was effective March 24th 2026 to Energy Technology and Service, Inc (ETS). The period of performance will be for approximately 180 canlendar days. As indicatrion in the attached and approved J&A for the Urgent and Compelling request, the Government has identified that Energy Technology and Service, Inc. is capable of performing this unusual and compelling requirement. ETS, Inc. has the capability to immediately respond to this need. The contractor is familiar with current Government and Naval Medical Center San Diego procedures, have a facility nearby and are able to respond to the Government's urgent need. The 180-day period of performance would provide NMCSD critical medical facility on-site generation system capable of delivering uninterupted utiliities to critical care areas. operating rooms, and life-support.
The North American Industry Classification System (NIACS) code for this requirement is 541512 with the size standard of $47 million. The applicable Product Service Code if J044. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes.
