Description
THIS REQUIREMENT IS ADVERTISED AS SOLE SOURCE. THE NOTICE IS PUBLISHED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information that is received.
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to negotiate and award a new Delivery Order (DO) under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0001925G0003 for the procurement of Door 40’s in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The anticipated quantity is 68 for the base year, 68 for Option Year 1, and 68 for Option Year 2 for a total quantity of 204. As the contractor, Northrup Grumman has the manufacturing knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfill this requirement within the time required. NAVAIR intends to award this effort to Northrup Grumman, 2000W NASA Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32904. It is anticipated that the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract will be issued. A planned Period of Performance (PoP) of Q1FY27 to Q1FY32 is expected upon award.
