Description
Notice of Intent for Ansys Granta and Minerva Software
The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed price basis and to solicit and award the proposed contract on a sole source basis to ANSYS, INC., under the authority of FAR Parts 12. The Commander, Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) Headquarters (HQ) Digital Group for Aviation Product Lifecycle Management (AvPLM) requires the renewal of Ansys Granta and Minerva Software Licenses.
ANSYS, INC., is the only known source for this requirement. Any substitutions may render some or all software inoperable resulting in significant impacts to the program and the Warfighter due to having to manually manage Additive Manufacturing (AM) material and test data, introducing labor costs, increased risk of quality escapes, limited ability to identify material substitution or optimization opportunities, and delays in delivering parts to the Fleet.
Award is expected on 8 May 2026.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested persons may submit a capability statement, which if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon resources to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received. The Government will not reimburse interested parties for any presentation, marketing efforts, or data related to this notice.

How do I use the Market Snapshot?
It summarizes awarded-contract behavior for the opportunity’s NAICS and sector, including a recent pricing band (P10–P90), momentum, and composition. Use it as context, not a guarantee.
Is the data live?
The signal updates as new awarded notices enter the system. Always validate the official award and solicitation details on SAM.gov.
What do P10 and P90 mean?
P10 is the 10th percentile award size and P90 is the 90th percentile. Together they describe the typical spread of award values.
