Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial products prepared in accordance with RFO part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation number is N0040626Q0033 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL requirement for Seaflex Inc mooring parts.
This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.
The NAICS CODE is 326299 and the Small Business Size Standard is 650 employees.
The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation without discussions to the responsible offeror whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, represents the best value to the Government, price, delivery technical acceptability, past performance, and other factors considered in no particular order.

Quotes shall be valid for sixty (60) days (at minimum) and contain the following information:

7. Brand name or equal - Specification sheet required for parts quoted as equals.
To be considered for this opportunity, all quotes shall be submitted in either Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheet or Adobe PDF. Each quote must clearly indicate the capability of the vendor to meet all specification requirements by submitting a specification sheet for each part quoted as an equal and will be reviewed for acceptability by the Technical POC.
EXCEPTIONS: All quoters MUST note all exceptions from the solicitation's terms, conditions, specifications, and/or the statement of work / performance work statement, if any. It will be assumed that any quote without mention of any exceptions will take no exception from all specifications, terms and conditions, clauses, or provisions within the solicitation.
