Description
The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Pittsburgh District, is looking for potential vendors to work on a roof replacement project at Berlin Lake. Tproject is located at Berlin Lake in Deerfield, Ohio. The work includes a Roof Replacement on the Resource Manager’s Office and the Maintenance building roof.
In general, the tasks required in the performance of this contract include: The contractor shall replace the shingle roof, ridge vents, gutters, and downspouts on the Resource Manager’s Office and the Maintenance building. Details of the Berlin Resource Managers (RMO) building construction are shown in Attachment 2 – Reference Drawings and Roof Plan and details for the Maintenance building construction are shown in Attachment 2a – Reference Maintenance building Location.
Representative photos of the Berlin Resource Managers roof and Maintenance building are shown in Attachment 3 – Reference Photos. The work shall include removal and disposal of all roofing materials over the entire roof, including all flashing, pipe boots, drip edges, shingles and roof felt, and replacement with new roofing underlayment, ice barrier and shingles, new roof ridge vent, new pipe boots, new louvered attic vents, and new flashing around all roof penetrations, as well as removal and reinstallation of the lightning protection system on the dwelling. Gutters and downspouts on all the eaves shall be removed and replaced with new aluminum seamless gutters and downspouts. All material provided in the performance of this contract shall be unused and meet the requirements of the specifications.
