Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract extension and is not a request for competitive proposals. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a sole source modification to N00024-20-C-5503 to Lockheed Martin (LM), 497 Electronics Pkwy, Liverpool, NY 13088, for the FY25-FY26 requirement for the production and testing of various configurations of SEWIP AN/SLQ-32(V)6 Electronic Warfare (EW) subsystem and spares. The proposed contract action will contain fixed-price contract line items.

The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B). LM is the only vendor qualified and capable of meeting the Navy’s FY26 schedule requirements for complete SEWIP Block 2 EW subsystems and spares. Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact LM directly. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

DISCLAIMER: This synopsis is for informational purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or award contracts. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept, proposals as a result of this synopsis. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. This is not a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation, and this information is subject to modification and in no way binds the Government to award a contract.

How do I use the Market Snapshot?

It summarizes awarded-contract behavior for the opportunity’s NAICS and sector, including a recent pricing band (P10–P90), momentum, and composition. Use it as context, not a guarantee.

Is the data live?

The signal updates as new awarded notices enter the system. Always validate the official award and solicitation details on SAM.gov.

What do P10 and P90 mean?

P10 is the 10th percentile award size and P90 is the 90th percentile. Together they describe the typical spread of award values.
