THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
The purpose of the sources sought is to determine if there are commercially available industrial automation systems that meet specifications of the Allen Bradley Compact Logix system and are compatible with existing Allen Bradley control systems in service. The Government seeks an industrial control solution meeting:
- Two Ethernet/IP ports supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps.
- One USB programming port.
- Support for local/distributed I/O modules.
- SD card-based nonvolatile memory.
- Internal energy-storage system (no battery required).
- Memory range from 384 KB to 10 MB.
- Operating temperature range −20°C to 60°C.
- 5–95% non-condensing humidity tolerance.
- IEC-compliant shock and vibration ratings.
- Support for continuous, periodic, and event-based tasks.
This is a market research tool being used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of an award. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. It is requested that interested vendors submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 5 pages total) demonstrating the ability to provide the product with the specifications described above.
Interested Sources are invited to respond to this Source Sought by completing Attachment 1 – Company Information and providing technical information and specification sheets.
The Capabilities Statement Package shall not exceed 5 pages and shall ONLY be submitted electronically to James Godwin, james.a.godwin41.civ@us.navy.mil and MUST be limited to a 4MB attachment. You are encouraged to request a read receipt or acknowledgement via reply email.
