Synopsis/Solicitation HT940626QE006 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation as indicated in the attached Standard Form (SF) 1449. The SF1449 form is being utilized to generate the applicable clauses from the Enterprise Contract Writing system.
The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity, Southeastern Healthcare Operations Contracting Division intends to procure a firm fixed price contract for solid carbon dioxide (dry ice) to support the operations of 20th Medical Group (MDG)- Shaw Air Force Base (AFB). The contractor shall supply all items, services, and delivery functions necessary to meet the requirements described in the Statement of Work (SOW). The contract will consist of a base year and four Option years of 12 months each. This requirement is being solicited in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
Submission of Quote: To create the quote, Contractors must follow the Quote Instructions Section and the requirements of FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-2, 52.212-1 Addendum, 52.212-2 Addendum included in the solicitation document. Quote is required to be submitted electronically to the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialists on or before the date and time specified in SF 1449, Block 8 of Page l.
Competition Approach: Small Business Set Aside.
Period of Performance: The estimated start date is June 20, 2026. The period of performance shall be for one (1) Base year of 12 months and four (4) Option years of 12-month each.

Incumbent Contractor: This requirement is a follow-on to Firm Fixed Price contract No. FA480323P0019, which was awarded to Cox Enterprises and Solutions LLC and expires on June 19, 2026.
