Description
Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic (NCTAMS LANT) is seeking information on services from Contractor personnel that can provide routine, corrective and preventative maintenance, and support services for the fiber optic telecommunication infrastructure supporting piers located on Naval Station Norfolk (NAVSTA) and Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek (JEBLC). The infrastructure is comprised of fiber risers, fiber distribution centers (FDC), and Integrated Transport Node (ITN) locations. The fiber risers are comprised of Environmental Distribution Center (EDC) enclosures housing Standard Connector (SC) fiber bulkheads. The bulkheads connect to the Umbilical Cable Assembly (UCA) pigtail and a hybrid 12MM/12SM fiber trunk connecting to the FDC. The FDC contains a fusion splice point that connects to the feeder cables from the ITN locations.
