Description
The Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD 20670 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Pauli Systems, Inc., 1820 Walters CT, Fairfield California 94533-2759 (Cage code: 06UZ8) on a sole source basis under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other products or services will satisfy agency requirements.
The Fleet Readiness Center, Southwest (FRCSW) has been tasked to procure one (1) PSI RAM31 Dry Stripping Cabinet, part number 494-070-01. Pauli Systems, Inc. is the manufacturer of the RAM31 Dry Stripping Cabinet and does not have any authorized distributors for this piece of equipment. For this reason, the Government intends to procure this product on a sole source basis from Pauli Systems, Inc. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (https://sam.gov/content/home) database prior to submission of an offer and at time of award to be considered for an award of any DoD contract.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All submissions shall become Government property and will not be returned. The North American Industry Classification System code is 333998. The Product Service Code is 4940.
