Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst NJ, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award to Honeywell International Inc. (CAGE: 06848) for the procurement of the End Seal, Water Separator, P/N: 268041-1, NSN: 4920-01-013-2627 in support of the KC-130 Program. The End Seal, Water Separator is required to perform leakage tests on the Water Separator (P/N: 3311050-1) during operational maintenance of the C-130 aircraft. The Government intends to award a Fixed-Price Purchase Order type contract.
This acquisition is being pursued on a sole-source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice via email, no later than 30 April 2026 at 4:00 PM EDT to Alexander Buchan at alexander.g.buchan2.civ@us.navy.mil.
