Description
The Department of Energy, Energy Information Administration (EIA), intends to issue a Firm- Fixed Price (FFP) Sole Source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Products to Bloomberg Finance L.P. for Bloomberg Professional Terminal Services/Bloomberg Anywhere. This provides access to the latest information, data, and news stories related to energy markets. The data from the Bloomberg service may also be used in EIA’s Daily Energy Report, Weekly Petroleum Status Report, Today in Energy, and other publications. The anticipated period of performance will be a one (1) year Base Period and four (4) optional one-year periods.
This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources eligible to meet this requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with strong and convincing evidence that clearly articulate the company’s ability to satisfy this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses that demonstrate comparable capability are received within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice, then a sole source acquisition award will be made.
