The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this procurement including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow-up information requests. All interested parties should respond.
The 115th Fighter Wing intends to issue a sole source solicitation and award a firm-fixed price contract for the purchase of BAK-14 HSRO Unit Part Number D02344-101, which will be installed in the existing Curtiss-Wright Aircraft Cable Arresting System located at Truax Field, Madison, WI. Any interested concern will provide this office, in writing, with a notice stating it’s positive intent to submit a quote as a prime contractor no later than the date indicated on this notice. This notification, which shall not exceed three typewritten pages, must include ALL of the following:
(1) Positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor
(2) A completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form
(3) Documentation identifying your organization as an authorized distributor for CURTISS-WRIGHT FLOW CONTROL SERVICE LLC, dba ENGINEERED ARRESTING SYSTEMS – ESCO.
