Description

The 48th Medical Support Squadron at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom (USAFE) has a requirement for shredding services to assist in the proper destruction of documents that are no longer in use and contain personal identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI) of patients and employee. The proper handling and protection of this information falls under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) Healthcare Contracting Division Northeast (HCD-NE) intends to award one Firm Fixe Price contract in accordance with FAR Part 12- Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.

To be accepted and eligible for evaluation, quotations must be prepared in compliance with these instructions and all the terms and conditions contained in this document.

The Government reserves the right to award without discussions.

All questions pertaining to this solicitation shall be in writing, directed to Ms. Cinthia G. Funes at cinthia.g.funes.civ@health.mil and Ms. Ealed M. Nuru at ealed.m.nuru.civ@health.mil. All questions shall be submitted not later than March 16th 2026, at 10:00 AM EST.

The Offeror agrees to hold the price in its offer firm for 60 calendar days from the date specified on the Quote.

All proposals are to be submitted electronically via email to cinthia.g.funes.civ@health.mil and ealed.m.nuru.civ@health.mil no later than March 27th  10:00 AM EST. Quotes shall be submitted in a format readable by, at a minimum, Microsoft Office 2007 programs.

Offerors are required to provide two (2), but no more than three (3) references of same or similar services completed withing the past three (3) years. Note: Provide past performance for projects similar in scope and complexity. Offerors are to include project dates, the work and demonstrate how they are comparable to this requirement in size and complexity.

On the SF1449 form, submit your monthly Firm Fixed Price for each CLIN in the SF1449 form.
