Contract Details
- One year base contract with 4 option years
- Vendor must be AAA NAID Certified
- Location: Redstone Arsenal, Alabama
Offsite paper shredding - Quarterly
- Frequency: Quarterly (12 weeks)
- 96 gallon bin swap – 36 bins
- Initial bins must be provided for swap
- Additional bin keys must be provided
- Pickup hours are between 9:00-3:30 Monday-Friday
- Shredding must be performed using commercial-grade equipment that produces particle sizes no larger than the 5/8-inch industry standard.
- All shredded paper must be securely baled and disposed of responsibly (e.g., recycled or destroyed without reuse as packing material or animal bedding).
Box purge – One-off service
- One-time purge of 30 standard banker boxes (10”x12”x15”)
- Boxes are palletized: 1 pallet
- Documents to match shredding and processing of quarterly paper shredding service
Hard Drive Collection and Destruction – Annual
- 150 hard drives per year
- Must include secure collection and certified destruction to ensure all data use permanently and irreversibly destroyed, in compliance with AAA NAID Certification standards
- Hard drives must be barcoded and tracked for verification of destruction.
- Destruction must be performed using equipment like the Obig-ShredPax model AZ-7V or equivalent, ensuring the drives are completely destroyed and unusable.
