Description

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy.  As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.

Requested for Quote:

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS LISTED BELOW:

  1. Tangential slope error: less than 0.5 μrad RMS, measured by a 3D profilometer with a sampling pitch of 1 mm after applying a Gaussian low-pass filter with λ = 1 mm.
  2. Sagittal slope error: less than 3 μrad RMS, evaluated under the same 3D profilometer conditions.
  3. Residual height error: less than 3 nm RMS, measured by a 3D profilometer.
  4. Evaluation note: these form errors are evaluated after subtraction of the best-fit Wolter.
  5. Surface roughness: less than 1 nm RMS, measured by WLI with a field of view of 1 × 1 mm².
  6. Surface roughness: less than 0.3 nm RMS, measured by WLI with a field of view of 0.1 × 0.1 mm².
  7. Substrate material: Si(100).
  8. Coating: Au, 50 ± 10 nm.
  9. Binder: Cr, 5-10 nm.
  10. S/D: 20 μm / 500 μm (No Haze).
  11. Chamfer: C0.5 on all edges.
  12. Squareness and parallelism: 0.5′.
  13. If the design of the mirror satisfies the required specifications
  14. Proven track record of design and fabrication of high-quality soft X-ray nano-focusing Wolter mirror at 100-500 nm leveL
  15. If the mirror can be fabricated and delivered to SLAC with a lead time of 27 weeks.

The resulting purchase order will be issued on a fixed price basis. SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory Terms and Conditions for Fixed Price Commercial Supplies and Services (Rev. August 2023) will be made a part of the resulting order. Please mark up terms and conditions if you wish to negotiate. No mark ups mean that you accept SLAC Terms and Conditions.

Payment Terms will be NET-30

For Domestic Suppliers - Freight terms will be FOB Destination Prepaid and Add.

Foregin Supplier - Shipment will be made CIP SLAC, Menlo Park, and Duty Unpaid.
