Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) - Randolph, TX
1. The 502d Contracting Squadron, 395 B. Street West, JBSA-Randolph, TX, 78150, is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) on SAM.gov.
2. It is the quoter's responsibility to ensure the quote and all the data is complete and in accordance with this RFQ. The Government assumes no responsibility for late or incomplete responses to the RFQ. Late responses will be processed in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(c). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 336413 - Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing, and Product Service Code (PSC) 1680 - Miscellaneous Aircraft Accessories and Components, which has a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. This requirement is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with the above NAICS.
3. The Government intends to make award based on the initial quote submissions without conducting discussions. Therefore, each quote should contain the quoter’s best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to hold discussions if, during the evaluation, it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government, IAW FAR 52.212-1(d). Quoter responses to the discussions will be considered in making the award decision. Discussions may be conducted with one, some or all quoters as the Government is not required to conduct discussions with any and/or all quoters responding to this RFQ.
4. The government will incorporate into the resultant order the attached contract clauses or provisions in order to be compliant with any applicable DoD-unique statutes, regulations, directives, and other requirements (Atch 2).
5. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price purchase order for eighty (80) "Cobra style" aircraft flight control grips. These grips shall be purchased and delivered to 502nd Trainer Development Squadron Warehouse - 664 A Street West, NW Corner of Building #241 JBSA - Randolph, TX 78150 in accordance with (IAW) the salient characteristics (ATCH 1) and Schedule of Supplies (ATCH 3). Vendor's quote shall include the model number, extended and total prices for the schedule below. If a CLIN item is not separately priced (NSP), please annotate unit price as zero (0) and place "NSP" in the total price column.
