Requirements Description: The Eyesafe Laser Rangefinder (ELRF) with Container (PN: 13083231) is a containerized, eyesafe laser rangefinder subsystem designed for integration with the Gunner's Primary Sight (GPS) on the Abrams M1A2 Tank. Its primary purpose is to determine the range of targets on the battlefield under various conditions, including the presence of man-made or natural obscurants. In addition to rangefinding, the ELRF projects a visible, collimated reticle into the GPS to provide an aim point for the tank's weapon systems.
