Reference: Project CON-653-23-100 Remove and Replace Underground Fuel Tank The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 20, in support of Roseburg VA Healthcare System, Roseburg, OR is currently requesting information to determine the existence of viable sources capable of providing construction services. Period of Performance: The intended contract period of performance is 365 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Description of Work: The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment for the site preparation, foundation, exterior lighting, utility locating and trenches, security camera(s) landscaping, permits, zoning processes needed to complete this project. All work will meet SOW, drawings, and specification requirements as well as any applicable manufacturer s recommended installation procedures. The project is located at the fuel farm and additional locations on the Roseburg VAMC campus. This project includes demolition and construction of a new fuel farm. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment for the demolition and construction services needed to complete this project. All work shall meet SOW, drawings and specification requirements as well as any applicable manufacturer s recommended installation procedures. The plans may have to be adjusted to accomplish construction and shall include but not limited to the following: BUILDING 2 Remove and decommission 1000-gal fuel tank Replace with 1000-gal above ground fuel tank with: New concrete slab/foundation (8 thick) New fence with privacy screening (similar to Building 3 HVAC fencing) 50 mph concrete filled crash bollards BUILDING 7 Move existing 12,000-gal fuel tank to fuel farm to be used as fuel oil for boilers Purchase and install new 2,500-gal above ground fuel tank for Building 7 generator FUEL FARM Remove and decommission underground storage tanks: 2,500-gal diesel 1,000-gal gasoline (2) 15,000-gal fuel oil (diesel) Move 12,000-gal tank from Building 7 to fuel farm for boilers Add new 20,000-gal tank for fuel oil for boilers Add new 2,500-gal gasoline tank 50 mph concrete filled crash bollards All new dispensaries and associated equipment All new electrical, data and communications and associated equipment All new concrete, foundation and structural components and associated equipment. NAICS Code: 237120 -Construction of oil and gas pipelines and related structures. The Government is not soliciting offers at this time, and it will be the Contracting Officer who will determine which suggested changes are accepted. This is a sources sought notice to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. A solicitation is not currently available. Responses: Responses to this request will be considered for the purpose of determining how the requirements will be stated and how the procurement will be conducted. This announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract.
