Milford Haven Dredging and Jetty Repair Special Announcement: Industry Day The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Norfolk District (NAO) is hosting a VIRTUAL Industry Day event on 15 January 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (EST) for dredging industry contractors interested in the future Milford Haven Dredging and Jetty Repair contract. Pre-registration is required for this VIRTUAL event. Please RSVP by Monday, 12 January 2026 by providing your name, company, relation to the dredging industry, and email address via email to Contract Specialist, Susan Ellis at susan.k.ellis@usace.army.mil. A virtual calendar invite will be sent to registered participants prior to the event. There is no solicitation at this time. The event is neither a marketing opportunity for businesses, nor will it promote upcoming projects. Project Description: The project is comprised of hydraulic maintenance or mechanical dredging of Milford Haven Channel, transport of material by pipeline with placement within the beach placement sites, minor site-work of the placement sites and restoration of the adjacent jetty structure as shown in the attached draft drawing and draft specifications. Dredging will include a portion of the authorized channel to a depth of -10 feet mean lower low water (MLLW) and will include 1 foot of allowable overdepth. Jetty work will include the removal of old stone and installation of sheet piles and new stone. The work will be located at the Milford Haven Federal Navigation Channel in Gwynn, Virginia. The purpose of the event is to seek dredging industry input regarding best practices, alternative suggestions, and examples of past success on similar projects for the technical execution of the Milford Haven dredging contract. The event will begin with the USACE-NAO’s presentation of the project’s scope, dredge areas, pumping distances, dredged material placement considerations, and an overview of the jetty maintenance work expected to be awarded with the base contract. At the conclusion of the presentation, there will be project discussion and question-and-answer period. USACE-NAO encourages participants to input for the consideration for the final design and solicitation. In support of this Industry Day, DRAFT Drawings and Specifications for the Milford Haven Dredging and Jetty contract is included with this posting for the purpose of receiving industry feedback. Please submit questions and suggestions for Discussion after the formal presentation to Contract Specialist, Susan Ellis at susan.k.ellis@usace.army.mil. The draft documents are for information purposes only and shall not be construed as the Solicitation. Draft documents are expected to be revised before the issuance of the Solicitation.
