Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair of AC-9 Life Rafts

The Air Force Test Center Operational Contracting Division (AFTC/PZIOA) Eglin AFB, FL intends to award a sole source contract to AIR CRUISERS COMPANY LLC, 269 E Main ST Liberty, Mississippi 39645-7250, United States, CAGE: 46RK2 to provide Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair of ten (10) AC-9 Life Rafts. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order.

The statutory authority which permits sole source for this acquisition is 41 United States Code (USC) 1901, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.102(a), revised by the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment Memorandum, 'Class Deviation – Revolutionary FAR Overhaul,' effective February 1, 2026. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued on the Government Point of Entry. A copy of the solicitation can be obtained by contacting the Point of Contact listed below. However, the determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All responses that are received by 12:00PM CDT on 03 April 2026 will be considered by the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the services required and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's capability to provide these services.
