Cancellation of Solicitation FA461026Q0003, SONET to DWDM Migration Part 2B
The Government hereby cancels Solicitation FA461026Q0003. This action is taken due to the withdrawal of funding previously identified for this requirement. As a result, funds are not presently available to support award, and the Government will not make an award under this solicitation. This cancellation is due solely to funding availability and is not related to the content of any quotation received.
In accordance with the terms of the solicitation under the section "Notice to Offerors," the Government reserves the right to cancel this RFQ at any time before contract award. As stated in the solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse offerors for any costs incurred in the preparation of their proposals.
The Government currently anticipates that funding may become available prior to the end of fiscal year 26; however, this estimate is subject to change and does not obligate the Government to re-solicit or make an award.
This Request for Quote (RFQ) for migration of circuits from legacy Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) to Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing Optical Transport Network (DWDM/OTN) for Vandenberg Space Force Base is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
This procurement is being issued under North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 541512 - Computer Systems Design Services with a szie standard of $34,000,000.00. This acquisition will be procured pursuant to the requirements in Federal Acquisition Regulation of FAR Part 12 and 13.
Please see the attached Combination synopsis/solicitation, Performance Work Statement, Pricing Schedule, Contract Clauses and Provisions, DD254, Wage Determination, and Brand-name justification for details. Offerors are required to utilize the Pricing Schedule document to submit their quote, following the instructions contained therein, reference FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, and the addendum thereto.
The contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP) per the CLIN structure reflected in the attached Pricing Schedule.
In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, all firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov). Lack of registration in the SAM will make an offeror ineligible for contract award.
