Description
Please see below for details surrounding the Government's intent to award a Hubzone sole-source contract to Tetrad Services, Inc. This is for the tear down, inspect, clean, and repair turbine generator #4 and associated auxiliary equipment at Eielson AFB's Central Heat and Power Plant (CH&PP). Turbine-Generator #4 is a 5 MW Worthington extracting steam turbine - Electric Machinery generator set, installed new in 1969. The contractor must demonstrate past work experience and logistical knowledge required for working in remote arctic environments. The project is subject to be completed by 30 Sept 2026. The Sole Source Justification will be posted to the Government point of entry (GPE) sam.gov post award.
