Description
This notice is being issued to announce solicitation #SPE8EG25Q0003 has been issued to the DLA Bid Board System (DIBBS) website June 3, 2025. Copies of the redacted Justification and Approval (J&A) have been issued as attachments to the solicitation and are available at the DIBBS website. Vendors must submit quotes in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the solicitation no later than Friday, July 11, 2025 at 3:00PM EDT.

This is a Synopsis as required by the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 637(e)) and the Office of Federal Procurement Policy Act (41 U.S.C. 416), and fulfills the synopsis and advertising requirements prescribed in FAR Part 5 – Publicizing Contract Actions.
The solicitation will consist of one NSN:
Line Item 0001: NSN: 4130-01-539-6297, COMPRESSOR, REFRIGERATION
DLA does not currently have an approved technical data package available for this National Stock Number to evaluate alternate offers. This NSN has two approved sources: AM General (CAGE: 34623) Part Number 6027992 and Mobile Climate Control Corp (CAGE: 0VL44) Part Number 4526529. The solicitation issue date will be on or around May 9, 2025
The solicitation will be unrestricted, utilizing other than full and open competition for an indefinite quantity type contract and does not authorize delivery of any material. The government plans to award a long term Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract and the performance period will potentially be five (5) years: a Base Period of two (2) years and three (3) one (1) year options. Pricing is to be submitted for each year of the two (2) year base period and three (3) one (1) year options. The annual estimated quantities and required delivery schedule will be included in the solicitation. FOB Origin terms will apply.
In order to receive an award, regardless of dollar value, you must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The SAM site may be accessed at https://www.sam.gov. The evaluation factor will be Price Only.
