Description

This solicitation is ready to be issued as of this date.  This solicitation is for the Group Life Insurance Services to employees of the Government of the United States of America in Thailand.  The resultant contract will be a fixed price with economic-price-adjustment-requirements type contract under which the Government will issue firm-fixed price task orders, for one base year with four one-year and one six-month options, if exercised by the government.  

This solicitation is issued via SAM.gov - no paper copies will be mailed.  All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered, but electronic submissions will not be accepted.

The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor.  The Government may award the contract based on initial offer without discussion.

All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.  Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations.  The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at the above web address.

No electronic offers will be accepted.  Please mail your offer to the contracting office listed in this notice prior to the response date and time.
