Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Chile will launch the solicitation on sam.gov website when it is available.
This solicitation is for the life insurance for locally employed staff (LES) at the US Embassy in Santiago, Chile. Please note that these are only estimated quantities for the purpose of this advance notice.
The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with three one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.
The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.
Pursuant to FAR 4.1102(a), all offerors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov at the time of proposal submission. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals.
This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021)
