Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to negotiate and award a sole source Purchase Order to Jonrie Intertech, LLC of Seattle, Washington for tengineering and technical services to support towing machine and Traction Winch Certification on USNS GRASP. The Government intends to make an award prior to the the end of the 3rd quarter of fiscal year 2026.
Brief description
This requirement is for the open and inspection of the vessel's complete towing machinery. The work involves a detailed assessment of all major control system components, including the tow machine, traction winch, and tow roller control consoles and panels. The inspection also covers the tow roller HPU, bull gear/pinion and clutch hub gear cases, heat exchangers, and all related electrical components, including junction boxes, pressure switches, and LVDTs.
Pursuant to RFO FAR 13.101(b), Jonrie Intertech, LLC is the only responsible source capable of fulfilling the Navy’s requirements for the specified effort. The proposed award and resulting contract modifications are for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106. The Product Service Code (PSC) for this effort is L099.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
