Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer (USACE), Philadelphia District (NAP), anticipates a requirement for the beach nourishment of Great Egg Harbor Inlet and Peck Beach Ocean City, Cape May County, NJ.
This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. This Notice is being issued for planning and information purposes only. This notice is not a Solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a committment commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept bids as a result of this notice.
**Solicitation W912BU26BA024 is expeced to be released on or around 23 April 2026.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The contractor will conduct pre-placement condition surveys and pump/place approximately 1.2M CY of sand from the Great Egg Harbor Inlet borrow area (roughly 5,000 feet offshore) onto the beaches of Ocean City, New Jersey anywhere from the groin at Seaview Road to 36th Street, depending on latest beach conditions at time of construction (although current conditions indicate sand will be needed only from the Seaview Road groin to 14th Street). Potential Quantity options of 100,000 CY, 200,000 CY, and 300,000 CY will be included to place more sand depending on bid prices received and sand need. Sand must come from the offshore borrow area. Trucking in sand will not be permitted under this contract.

TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: Full and Open (Unrestricted). In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.1307, this project requires the HUBZone 10% price evaluation.
