Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 12445526B0002 is issued as an Invitation For Bids (IFB) for site improvements to the Iargo Springs Interpretive Site, including but not limitted to: removal and replacement of the existing wood stair, from the upper parking area to the lower boardwalk; removal and replacement of the upper observation platform decking and railings;  removal of a stairway and landing near the dam at the lower level, and installation of a railing at the end of the remaining landing.  Select boardwalk maintenance will also be considered under optional items.  The worksite includes areas of steep slope that lead into the water.  Contractors are strongly encouraged to inspect the location before bidding.

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference.  The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.

The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction  The small business size standard is $45,000,000.00  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency.
