Description

Item Name: Switch Box

NSN: 5930-01-705-8315

Part Number: DBH672-4S

Minimum Quantity: 15 each

Maximum Quantity: 356 each

End Item: Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV)

Description: The Switch Box is an essential component of the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) Vetronics Electrical Installation and is critical to vehicle readiness as it enables interoperability between Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) components. The Switch Box is a rugged, multi-function system that integrates a Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) switch and a quad-core MX6 processor in a compact, MIL-STD qualified chassis. It consolidates a variety of capabilities, including a 16-port fully managed Layer 2 GbE switch, static Layer 3 routing, embedded Global Positioning System (GPS), a Chip Scale Atomic Clock (CSAC), an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), and solid-state storage into a single Line Replaceable Unit (LRU). The Switch Box supports embedded computing and serves as an infrastructure Switch for the U.S. Army's Vehicle Integration for C5ISR Interoperability (VICTORY) initiative. The Switch Box must comply with several military specifications, including MIL-STD-810G for shock and vibration, MIL-STD-461F for electromagnetic interference, and MIL-STD-1275 for power supply protection against voltage surges, spikes, and transients. It also requires a wide operating temperature range of -40 to +71°C and MIL-DTL-38999 circular connectors, which are not typically found on commercial Ethernet switches.

Technical Data is not available for this procurement.  Procurement is source controlled to Curtiss-Wright (CAGE: 1P423).

FAQ

How do I use the Market Snapshot?

It summarizes awarded-contract behavior for the opportunity’s NAICS and sector, including a recent pricing band (P10–P90), momentum, and composition. Use it as context, not a guarantee.

Is the data live?

The signal updates as new awarded notices enter the system. Always validate the official award and solicitation details on SAM.gov.

What do P10 and P90 mean?

P10 is the 10th percentile award size and P90 is the 90th percentile. Together they describe the typical spread of award values.
