Description
Amended to include set aside code. The electronic key storage system should provide a comprehensive solution for effectively controlling keys, assets, and personnel. It will utilize a computerized locking steel drawer and i Button/RFID key tag technology, eliminating the need for manual scanning or logging during transactions. The system will create a verifiable audit trail upon key removal, ensuring liability protection for DOTS and peace of mind for the directorate. During checkout, the selected key will light up so the customer can quickly locate it. The moment a key or asset is removed from the drawer, a verifiable audit trail is automatically created, protecting the DOTS customer and directorate from liability, and giving the directorate peace of mind. DOTS requires contractor support to establish a maintenance contract which will give the directorate the ability to properly manage, maintain and account for capable of storing 35 multi-key rings containing approximately 30 keys per ring and 150 vehicle key rings with credit card holders, one (1)or two (2) keys per ring. Software Support The contractor shall provide software support365 days a year, including updates and enhancements to the Electronic Key Storage System located in Building 9106. The software will only support the operation of the Key Storage System and will NOT be connected to the network via hardwire or Wi-Fi. Hardware Support The contractor shall provide hardware support and replacement for any non-operational hardware. This includes the repair or replacement of the Electronic Key Storage System and its components, including shipping costs. The contractor will ensure the work site is cleaned post-installation or repair. Included shall be shipping costs or replacement of equipment. The contractor will provide replacements for non-operational or problematic equipment. Nonoperational or problematic equipment is defined as the KeyTrak System not performing as it was designed to. All components will be covered by the contractor and should be replaced if not working properly: one (1) PC server, one (1)monitor, one (1) keyboard, one (1) fingerprint reader, one (1) mouse, one (1) printer.Warranty and Maintenance Warranty and maintenance services are vital for mission success and the organization?s ability to serve customers effectively. The contractor shall ensure that the Electronic Key Storage System is always functioning properly without physical security issues . This contract includes a service requirement for the duration of the base year plus four (4) option years if awarded. Maintenance/Repair of Electronic Key Storage System Annual maintenance support will be provided throughout the contract duration. The contractor must respond to issues within four (4) business days if the system is inoperable. Telephone support will be the first line of assistance. If are placement is determined to be needed, the contractor will coordinate the replacement and provide shipping of the component at no charge.
