The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s (AFLCMC) Control and Reporting Center (CRC) Program Management Office (PMO) is conducting market research to identify vendors with the capability to propose, deliver, and sustain a ruggedized, field-deployable Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW). This RFI seeks to identify sources capable of providing a comprehensive security solution that can be integrated into a transit case, operate in contested environments, and meet the demanding cybersecurity requirements of the Starshield project, enabling a Zero Trust security architecture, a security model that operates on the principle of "never trust, always verify," requiring strict identity verification for every person and device attempting to access resources on the network.
See attached document, Request for Information (RFI) for Ruggedized NGFW 30 March 2026, for more information. You will need a current DD2345 form to access this document. Please email your current DD2345 to the POCs below to request access to this document. NOTE: Once verified, only the Data Custodian identified on the DD2345 will be given access to the document.

How do I use the Market Snapshot?
It summarizes awarded-contract behavior for the opportunity’s NAICS and sector, including a recent pricing band (P10–P90), momentum, and composition. Use it as context, not a guarantee.
Is the data live?
The signal updates as new awarded notices enter the system. Always validate the official award and solicitation details on SAM.gov.
What do P10 and P90 mean?
P10 is the 10th percentile award size and P90 is the 90th percentile. Together they describe the typical spread of award values.
