Description

Berth 13 Structural Repairs, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery ME.

This project provides structural repairs to Berth 13 to restore deck loading capacity and extend usable life of structure, repair deteriorated deck sections, and repair piles, caps, beams, deck, and steel reaction frame connections to allow continued use of the berth. Berth 13 is an open wharf structure waterfront facility constructed in the 1940’s consisting of concrete piles including previous jacket repairs, concrete wharf deck, and steel reaction frame with timber decking along the outboard face of the wharf structure. Total approximate construction area is approximately 25,000 square feet (SF).
