Description
On or about 20 April 2026, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation for “Bear Creek Dam Service & Emergency Gates Replacement”. The solicitation will close on or about 20 May 2026 by 2:00 PM CT.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
The contractor shall provide material, and labor in order to complete required work to design and replace service and emergency gates at Bear Creek Dam, CO. Work shall be in accordance with Request for Proposal documents issued with the solicitation. The work shall include but not limited to the following:
- Replace 2 service gates and 2 emergency gates.
- Replace mechanical components such as gate seals, packing seats, low flow gates hydraulic cylinder.
- Sandblast and repaint steel liners and gate slots inside the flood tunnel.
Site Visit:
A Site Visit will be scheduled and additional information regarding the site visit will be provided in the solicitation. Tentative Site Visit will be 10 days after the solicitation is posted on SAM.GOV.
