This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number HC108426R0004 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) for a scalable storage system that can dynamically adapt to varying storage and throughput demands through an on-demand service model. This approach must allow for cost flexibility, being billed on a utility basis that depends on actual usage throughout the contract's lifecycle. The scope of this contract requires a managed storage service for the Government that provides solutions for all application workloads, including the necessary hardware, operating software, network management tools, technical services, and operational control. In addition, the required managed services should include the comprehensive provisioning and maintenance of all necessary assets, such as hardware, software, licensing, and all relevant design, logistics, field maintenance, and systems engineering services. The primary objective is to ensure seamless, adaptive, and efficient storage management that provides the Government with the flexibility needed to satisfy requirements for security, availability, scalability, and the modernization of its storage infrastructure.
