SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION FOR BASE WIDE DUCT WORK AND EXHAUST HOOD CLEANING - TOBYHANNA ARMY DEPOT INTRODUCTION ACC-APG, Tobyhanna Division is issuing this source sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and the required systems, expertise, capabilities, and experience to support the cleaning services of kitchen exhaust hoods and duct work located at Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna, PA 18466. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement if a requirement materializes. Based on the responses to this source sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. The Government intends to issue a single award hybrid firm fixed price/time and materials contract for this effort. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. BACKGROUND Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) requires cleaning services for eight (8) kitchen areas and duct work located at Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD), Tobyhanna, PA 18466. Period of performance will be one year with the Government having the option to extend the term of the contract for an additional four (4) years. TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials in performing all operations in connection with the tri-annual, bi-annual, or annual pressure washing and chemical cleaning of exhaust hoods, filters, associated ductwork and fans of exhaust hood systems located in TYAD designated areas. Duct work and associated air handler equipment cleaning services will be performed on an on-call basis. Please see attached draft PWS for additional details. ELIGIBILITY The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 561790 with a Small Business Size Standard of $9,000,000 .
