The United States Department of the Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) intends to award a sole source contract to, TSE Systems, Inc. in Huntley, IL. This requirement is for authorized approved vendors to provide brand name equipment. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals however If interested Government shall consider all responses. The Naval Medical Research Unit - Dayton (NAMRU-D) has a requirement for Stellar Implantable Transmitters, Type PTA-M: Pressure, Temp, Activity. These devices must be compatible with a TSE stellar telemetry receiver (already owned), appropriate size for implantation into a rat model, able to sample blood pressure (Range -25 to 300 mmHg) at >500 Hz, temperature measurements from 0-45C (0.05C resolution), measure overall animal activity, and have a battery life allowing data collection for > 3 months (up to 12 months). The NAICS code for this action is 334516. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Systems for Award Management (SAM).
