Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC), is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of providing replacement of an Ansul fire suppression system actuator and recharge of the Ansul system tank located in the OIT 7th floor server room at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, 820 S Damen Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60612. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and other resources necessary to perform the required services. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. Scope of Services Replace the Ansul fire suppression system actuator on the primary tank. Recharge the Ansul system cylinder. Ensure proper reinstallation and full functionality of the fire suppression system and all ancillary components. Provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision required to complete the work. Dispose of all excess materials and debris upon completion. Perform project coordination with VA personnel as required. Location Jesse Brown VA Medical Center 820 S Damen Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60612 OIT 7th Floor Server Room Period of Performance All work shall be completed within thirty (30) calendar days of award. Work shall be scheduled in coordination with the COR and may be required outside normal business hours to minimize disruption to operations.
