Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number FA850126Q0015 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for maintenance and repair of Robins AFB Bullet Trap System.
This acquisition is not set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.
This will be solicited as a sole source requirement to Action Target, Inc., as the bullet containment system is proprietary to them.
This Solicitation and subsequent quotes will use the Contract Line Items (CLINs) format listed in the RFQ.
DESCRIPTION: Bullet Trap Maintenance (FY26 Follow on)
The contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, equipment, and services to repair and service the Total Containment Bullet Trap to ensure availability and functionality of the weapons range at Robins AFB, GA.
The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Products and Commercial Services is applicable to this requirement. The specific evaluation criteria determined by the Contracting Officer in paragraph (a) is as follows:
"The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors will be used to evaluate offers:
- Technical Acceptability - Technical evaluation team will evaluate by assigning a rating of "Acceptable" or "Unacceptable".
- Price - Offeror's proposed price will be evaluated for fairness and reasonableness in accordance with FAR 12.204 Award.
The provision and clause 52.212-4, Terms and Conditions-Commercial Products and Commercial Services applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference.
