Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island, on behalf of Joint Munitions Technology Command (JMTC), intends to issue a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP), W9098S-19-R-0011, on or around February 2026 with an estimated closing date of 30 days after issuance.
The RFP for the Metal Working and Machine Shop Set (MWMSS) Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) will be issued under full and open competition using a best value evaluation approach in accordance with Federal Regulation (FAR) 15.101.
The RFP will solicit proposals for one (1) Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. A total guaranteed minimum quantity of one (1) each for the two (2) CLIN types is anticipated with an estimated maximum of 120 over five (5) years.
The Statement of Work (SOW) will be listed in the solicitation.
Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFP. Contractors may obtain information on SAM registration by visiting: https://www.acquisition.gov.
