Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with RFO part 12. This announcement constitutes only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number FA448626Q0004 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Mobile Aircraft Fire Trainer Maintenance Services. The Contractor shall provide all specialized tools and equipment and qualified labor to inspect, test, maintain and repair the Lajes Field Air Force Base Mobile Aircraft Fire Trainer (MAFT) in a manner that will ensure their serviceability and prevent deterioration in operational effectiveness. The Contractor shall comply with this Performance Work Statement (PWS), Air Force Technical Order (TO) 35E1-2-13-1 (latest version in effect at the time utilized) Operation and Maintenance Instructions for Aircraft Live Fire Training Facilities (AFTF), commercial standards, manufacturers’ recommendations, procedures, and technical data, and local, state, and federal guidelines as applicable to the work involved. NOTE: Lajes Field MAFT is fueled by Butane gas, instead of Propane.
This acquisition is not set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.
This procurement is a full and open competition, with a NAICS code of 811310 – Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract IAW RFO 16.202, to the responsible offeror conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered, while meeting all standards set forth in this document and all the attachments provided for this requirement. Offerors are required to fill out the pricing schedule below to be considered for award of the Mobile Aircraft Fire Trainer Maintenance Services contract.
