Description

Amendment 001

The purpose of Amendment 001 is to:

1) Add Attachment 3 - Q and As 9 AMXS U2 Intake Plugs.

2) Add Attachment 4 - U2 Intake Plugs Blueprint.

3) Update Questions due date from 11 March 2026 at 10:00AM PDT to 16 March 2026 at 4:00 PM PDT.

4) Update Solicitation due date from 18 March 2026 at 10:00 AM PDT to 20 March 2026 at 10:00 AM PDT.

All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

(i) Solicitation Statement

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.

(ii). FA468626QC002 is issued as an RFQ.

(iii). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2025-06 October 1, 2025.

(iv). This will be solicited as a Set-Aside Status: 100% Small Business set-aside, with an associated NAICS code 336413 – Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing, and a small business size standard of 1,250 Employees.

(v). A list of line-item number(s) and items, quantities, and units of measure is identified in Attachment 1 Solicitation FA468626QC002. Offerors shall return completed as part of quote submission.

(vi). This Requirement is to procure a total of 31 sets (62 individual plugs) of new engine intake plugs for the U-2 aircraft for the 9th AMX Squadron, as defined in the associated Attachment 2 U2 Intake Plugs_Final.

(vii). Place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point is identified in SON;Beale AFB, CA; Delivery MUST be before 01 May 2026.

(viii). The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition.

(ix). The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition and the specific evaluation criteria to be included is identified in Attachment 1 Solicitation FA468626QC002.

(x). Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, with its offer.

(xi). The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition.

(xii). The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders [1] Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition. 

(xii). The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) and assigned rating is not applicable.

(xiv). Questions are due 16 March, 2026 at 4:00 PM PDT, Quotes are due 20 March 2026 at 10:00 AM PDT to the POCs listed below:
