Purchase Description (PD)

Trailer Mounted Diesel Powered Industrial Vacuum – One (1) Each

Vector Spartan III or Equal

For Red River Army Depot (RRAD)

  1. Summary: This purchase description sets forth the minimum requirements for the delivery of one (1) each Vector Spartan III (or equal) trailer mounted diesel powered industrial vacuum machine. The machine shall be designed to vacuum and filter bulk flowable material and liquid commonly found in heavy industrial shop environments.

    1. Delivery: The items acquired via this purchase shall be delivered to Red River Army Depot located at Texarkana, Texas no later than three (3) months after purchase.

  1. General Requirements: The items offered shall be new and a current production model. A current production model is defined as the manufacturer’s current production model which, on the date this solicitation is issued, has been designed, engineered and sold or is being offered for sale through advertisements or manufacturer’s published catalogue or brochures. Products such as a prototype unit, pre-production model, or experimental units do not qualify as meeting the requirements specified herein. The equipment shall be complete, so that upon receipt, it can be used for any function for which it was designed and constructed.

  1. Technical Specifications:

    1. Power Source – 50HP Kubota Diesel with 20 gallon fuel tank
    2. Heavy duty “in-plant” style trailer with dual axles and tow bar
    3. 16" Hg /1,337 CFM Positive Displacement Blower
    4. Exhaust Silencer
    5. Pleated cellulose filter for final filtration and blower protection
    6. Pulse air primary filtration and pleated cartridge secondary filtration
    7. 5.5 ACFM air compressor with air reservoir
    8. 32” baghouse
    9. 55 gallon barrel for dust collection – with lid and inlet
    10. 4” material inlet with 4” male/female couplings
    11. Ten (10) each 4” diameter filter bags
    12. Control panel with water temperature warning, oil pressure warning, oil temperature warning, charge system warning, hour meter/tachometer, air pressure gauge, and key switch
    13. Early warning shutdown system
    14. Shall include all vacuum hoses and fittings required for operation

  1. Warranty: The machine and all included peripherals furnished under this purchase shall be guaranteed for a period of time equal to the manufacturer’s normal commercial warranty, or for a period of one (1) year, whichever is longer.
