9140--Temporary Emergency Department Generator Fuel Supply

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office 19 (NCO 19) is conducting a market survey and is seeking potential sources for Temporary Emergency Department Generator Fuel Supply. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for information and planning purposes only. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal and shall not be construed as an obligation or commitment by the Government. An award will not be made on any offers submitted in response to this notice, and it shall not be implied the Government is committed to providing any solicitation or award following this notice. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this request, nor will the Government compensate a respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided. Purpose: Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 19 is conducting a market survey for potential sources to deliver diesel fuel and DEF fluid for the generators running the Grand Junction VA Medical Center station s temporary Emergency Department facility during the renovation of the main campus Emergency Department. The generators are located at WCHCS, 2121 North Avenue, Grand Junction, Colorado, 81501. Material Requirements: 2400 gallons of type two Ultra Low Sulphur Clear Highway diesel fuel per month. The fuel cannot be off road diesel with red dye. 144 gallons per month Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). Tote with freeze protection to be provided by supplier. Miscellaneous Requirements: Fuel should be pumped from the delivery truck into the station s 1200-gallon fuel tank as needed every five to seven business days to top off any used diesel. DEF should be delivered and added as required to fill the large tote (approx. 275 gallons) during every diesel delivery. The Contractor must provide spill containment while pumping into the DEF and Diesel fuel tanks.
