This Solicitation Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Chicago District, for a construction project located in Chesterton, Porter County, Indiana.

PROJECT INFORMATION: This is an active Construction Solicitation for the Chesterton Interceptor Rehabilitation project.

DESCRIPTION: The project aims to extend the life of the 48-inch RCP sewer interceptor along 8th Street via segmented slip lining. Insertion pits will be used, and segments of pipe will be lowered into the pits and pushed into the sewer using a hydraulic press. The pipe to be rehabilitated spans approximately 3,300 feet, from 8th Street and Morgan Avenue to the Wastewater Treatment Plant on League Lane in Chesterton, Indiana.
