Purchase and installation of a new Intrusion Detection System (IDS) Installation at the

Robert T. Matsui United States Courthouse, 501 I St, Sacramento, CA  95814 (CA0306)

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS) has a requirement for a contractor to purchase and installation of a new Intrusion Detection System (IDS at the Robert T. Matsui United States Courthouse, 501 I St, Sacramento, CA  95814 (CA0306). The contractor shall perform IDS installation as noted in the Statement of Work (SOW).

This acquisition is being solicited as a 100% small business set aside. Services shall be provided via a firm-fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621 and the size standard is $25 million. The Request for Quote (RFQ) is being conducted under FAR Subpart 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and award will be based on price and other factors.  The submission requirements and evaluation criteria will be defined in the RFQ. The period of performance for completion of the IDS installation will be provided in the solicitation. The contractor is required to register with the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov. No contract award shall be made to any contractor that does not have an active registration in SAM at the time of award.
