FY26 - IVHC - Fire Alarm Inspection Services Fire Alarm System Services Item # 1: Vendor will provide the following: Inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of the facilities, including but not limited to: fire alarm detection system, wet pipe sprinkler system, dry pipe sprinkler system, fire and jockey pump system, smoke detector sensitivity testing, pre-action system, Ansul automatic fire suppression system and standpipe hose cabinet system. Inspection and testing frequency requirements for the Life Safety Systems. These frequency requirements may change if parts or equipment have been replaced or repaired and the systems need to be retested so to comply with NFPA standards. Vendor and/or employees must have National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies Level II certification for fire alarm inspection and testing. A copy of the certification must be submitted with the bid and on file with the contract monitor. Vendor and/or employees must have National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies Level III certification for sprinkler inspection and testing. A copy of the certification must be submitted with the bid and on file with the contract monitor. Vendor and/or employees must be licensed by the Illinois State Fire Marshal to perform all worked required under this contract. A copy of the certification must be submitted with the bid and on file with the contract monitor. This will be a 12-month contract.
