DHS SS Central Office Illinois Assistive Tech AT ACT This is a notice of intent to award a contract as a sole source to: Illinois Assistive Technology Program for affordable assistive technology to individuals with disabilities and their families who do not have the means to purchase new equipment. The hearing will be canceled unless an interested party submits written comments or makes a written request for public hearing by Friday, March 27, 2026, at 4 p.m. to the Info Contact above. Item # 1: ( 952 - 59 ) 100% Federal Funding- DHS is the lead State agency for which federal flow through funding authorize by the Dept of Health and Human Services via federal Assistive Technology Act of 1998. IATP is the designated implementing agency of this funding for which the intent is to provide pre-owned, affordable assistive technology to individuals with disabilities and their families who do not have the means to purchase new equipment. The purpose of the funding is: to support increased investment in technology related assistance in order to meet the needs of Illinoisans with disabilities in their educational, employment, and independent living goals. 100% Federal Funding- DHS is the lead State agency for which federal flow through funding authorize by the Dept of Health and Human Services via federal Assistive Technology Act of 1998.
