OVERVIEW The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6 is conducting market research to identify potential sources for construction services to renovate the surgical suite at the Salem Va Medical Center, 1970 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153. The attached Statement of Work is a draft document and is subject to change prior to release of a solicitation. SCOPE OF WORK This construction services project includes general construction, structural, architectural, fire suppression, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fire alarm systems trades to perform work in Building 143 at the Salem VA Medical Center. The purpose of the project is to expand and renovate an existing surgical suite to comply with the current VA design guidelines and provide innovative functional spaces. The service location is the Salem VA Medical Center, 1970 Roanoke Blvd. Salem, VA 24153.
